Many people wonder what’s so special about this mode of meditation? Difference lies in its simplicity and easiness to learn. All one requires is dedication and focus. Transcendental meditation causes a deep state of relaxation but at the same time your alertness of mind remains there. One needs to focus on a particular thing and delve deep into it. Motivation works on several platforms and in different aspects of life. Inspiration is something which is mostly self-developed and some other times, we need some sort of external spark or rekindle that inspirational ting. If we take corporate field as an example, one of the most important tasks for a manager is to motivate his employees. In fact, keeping the morale high on a consistent basis is not an easy job. But then, a manager has to perform it or else repercussions can be too damaging. Inspiring your employees also signifies creating a positive work environment and keeping the mood light.
The manager must begin with knowing his employees. It pays to know about the personal aspects of employees including his interests, family, after work routine etc. the thing is different people are motivated by different things so knowing an employee well means, a manager can work upon the things which might prove useful in motivating that particular employee.
A manager should always try to spend some time with his employees. It won’t take more than few minutes per day. But it signifies you are interested in your employees and personally concerned with their well-beings. That means a lot for the employees. Another method is to arrange for periodic reviews every now and then where you can sit with employees and talk about professional and personal hazards.
A manager should focus upon knowing new things in motivation aspects. Being a manager it’s of prime responsibility to keep learning new things. Sharing management things with employees also indicate generating motivation amongst employees. Apart from that one should try to know the feelings of employees about his job.

Motivation is a multi-dimensional term. It traverses through several layers of human existence. It will not be an exaggeration to say that, its one of the most important word in our lives. This article will talk about the miracle of self-motivation for the lazy people. Good number of people in this world suffers from one common problem of struggle with self motivation. It’s not about having one particular bad day but it’s about having in same state of laziness regularly. If we look closely at this phenomenon, we will find that it’s an issue of self-esteem and laziness combined together. So what is the solution?
Of course, solution lies with us because we must believe that we are in charge of our destiny and we play a great role in shaping our future. Let’s fix the problem. But before embarking on this spiritual and mental journey of fixing, let’s make sure it’s not a physical problem. Thyroid, diabetes and other medical issues often cause low self-esteem and reduced motivation.
How about writing your goals on a paper and sticking it to your office wall or bed-room? It really helps to write down small goals with specific plans. Small goals are easier to achieve and to create motivation. Beginning with large goals won’t serve the purpose. Then start taking small steps to achieve those goals. Slowly, also start writing about the outcomes of your goals. Keep reminding yourself about the consequence of non-fulfillment of your goals. Once initial goals are achieved, make new goals. Keep this process active and you will soon start finding the change in your otherwise lazy life. Don’t just try to reach your goal once. When your goals are completed, start on new ones. Just remember to start writing goals on paper.

War and terrorism has caused grief of monumental proportions to the many innocent people all over the world. These two curses of humanity have no religions. Their victims can not be categorized in any religious or ethnic or spiritual community. They were just plain humans, innocent humans. I recently came across this poem vividly depicting the impact of war in a hard-hitting way. Thought of sharing this with readers who feel the same way.
There is no poem that will stop this war
This is not the one. There is none. There is
nothing to be done. We are not anything but
the Hun the fierce images in old textbooks
the Mongol horsemen rape and pillage
villages burning and the laughter of old men.
The radio and television prepare us
for the Super Bowl. But already in Ohio
we are number one. All of us better
than all of the rest of the world. Admit it
it was the perfect game. Allah praise Ohio State.
And admit this all who listen to NPR
the president is smarter than you.
He is riding the armored car of history while you
look for a refuge some safe place for your children.
But there is no place to hide. We are the virus.
Everything that cannot be bought and sold
for a profit falls before us. He knows this
even if you believe he is a fool. He lives and breathes
Karl Marx while you hold up a sign that says
Peace is Patriotic. The laughter of old men.
There is no image to stop the war. No child
with burned blacked skin like barbecued chicken.
The children waste away from bad plumbing and no
medicine. We pass along to each other the chips
and organic carrots. Bottled water.
There is no poem as good as government ensured
bonds. We are wounded with so little interest. There
is no poem that will pay us ten percent and stop
this war. The Germans marched prematurely
through history never understanding the power
of the dollar never having heard of Lexus and SUV
never knowing anything about baseball never
knowing that the Yankees only lose enough
to make the game seem fair. Vietnam is empty
in the memory. Cambodia fills with Wal-Mart
and Burger King. Bombs from 20,000 feet.
The first dictate of battle is to make sure
the enemy has no weapons to harm you.
Disable their best batter. Tonya Harding their best runner.
Then attack and wait for the parade. But dont wait
for the poem that will stop this war. There is none.
The history of the empire has just begun.

Recently Mumbai face the burnt of terrorism and was held hostage for almost 57 hours. Terrorism has no religions and the only people who suffer are innocents’ people who had nothing to do with all the mess surrounding religious fanatics. But human ability of moving ahead despite all the losses incurred in the journey of life again came to the fore.
I came across a poem written by lyricist and famous ad personality which is dedicated to all the victims. He wrote this after the Mumbai terror attacks. This is a poem which reflects our collective voice and pain. I am sharing this poem with all the people.
Is baar nahin
Is baar jab woh choti si bachchi mere paas apni kharonch le kar aayegi
Main usey phoo phoo kar nahin behlaoonga
Panapney doonga uski tees ko
Is baar nahin
(This time when that little girl comes to me with her bruises, I will not blow gently at her wound, nor distract her, I will let her pain grow.
Not this time.)
Is baar jab main chehron par dard likha dekhoonga
Nahin gaoonga geet peeda bhula dene wale
Dard ko risney doonga, utarney doonga andar gehrey
Is baar nahin
(This time when I see pain on faces
I will not sing the song that eases pain
I will let the pain seep in, deep.
Not this time.)
Is baar main na marham lagaoonga
Na hi uthaoonga rui ke phahey
Aur na hi kahoonga ki tum aankein band karlo,
gardan udhar kar lo main dawa lagata hoon
Dekhney doonga sabko hum sabko khuley nangey ghaav
Is baar nahin
(This time I won’t apply any balm
Nor will I ask you to shut your eyes
and turn your head
While I gingerly apply medicine
I will let everyone see the open, naked wounds
Not this time.)
Is baar jab uljhaney dekhoonga, chatpatahat dekhoonga
Nahin daudoonga uljhee door lapetney
Uljhaney doonga jab tak ulajh sake
Is baar nahin
(This time when I see difficulty, uneasiness
I will not run to solve the problems
I will let them become complicated
Not this time.)
Is baar karm ka hawala de kar nahin uthaoonga auzaar
Nahin karoonga phir se ek nayee shuruaat
Nahin banoonga misaal ek karmyogi ki
Nahin aaney doonga zindagi ko aasani se patri par
Utarney doonga usey keechad main, tedhey medhey raston pe
Nahin sookhney doonga deewaron par laga khoon
Halka nahin padney doonga uska rang
Is baar nahin banney doonga usey itna laachaar
Ki paan ki peek aur khoon ka fark hi khatm ho jaye
Is baar nahin
(This time I won’t pick up my tools as a matter of duty
I will not make a new beginning
Nor will I stand as an example of one dedicated to my job
I will not let life easily return to normalcy
I will let it descend into muck, on the twisting paths
I will not let the blood on the walls dry out
Nor will I let its colour fade away
This time I won’t let it become so helpless
That you can’t tell blood from paan-spit
Not this time.)
Is baar ghawon ko dekhna hai
Gaur se
Thoda lambe wakt tak
Kuch faisley
Aur uskey baad hausley
Kahin toh shuruat karni hi hogi
Is baar yahi tay kiya hai
(This time the wounds need to be watched
Carefully
For a long time
Some decisions are needed
And then some brave moves to be made
We have to begin somewhere
This time this is what I have resolved)
